Resort-
From the moment I walked into this hotel, I was engulfed in the most refreshing smell. The lobby smelled like a sweet rose. The staff was so welcoming and attentive and the lobby was so inviting. The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. We had so much space for our things and to move about. But, our favorite part about our room was the breathtaking views!
We were fortunate enough to have a lake view room on the highest floor. I highly recommend booking a lake view room with a balcony and requesting a high floor. From your balcony you can see Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom! Which means, FIREWORKS! That’s right, we could see Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Magic Kingdom fireworks all from our balcony! You cannot beat this view! Especially for the price! On Disney property, you would pay triple the price for a firework view room.
Dining-
Wyndham Grand Orlando has so many food options that you never have to leave the resort. If you just need a quick bite on-the-go before your park day, there is a café in the lobby called The Barista. There they serve Starbucks Coffee, breakfast sandwiches, various pastries, and more. This is also a great spot to grab a snack throughout the day. Another option for breakfast is Tesoro Cove Family Fare Restaurant. There you will find a delicious breakfast buffet. This buffet is complete with made to order waffles, an omelet station, a pastry station, and more! For lunch, stop by Back Bay Grill. This pool bar restaurant will make life easy so you never have to leave the pool.
For dinner DO NOT MISS Deep Blu Seafood Grille. This award-winning seafood restaurant has won: Best Hotel Restaurant, Best Service, Best Seafood, and three four-diamond awards. In addition to the incredible food, the pool views, romantic atmosphere, and excellent service are all icing on the cake. If you want high-quality seafood, this is THE place to dine.
Amenities-
This hotel shares its property with Club Wyndham. Therefore, you can use any of the 5 pools! The main hotel pool is perfect for relaxing and offers kids activities on the lawn. Next to the main pool is another oasis with a pirate ship waterslide! And the pool after that is a lazy river paradise! There is so much to see and do at this hotel that we never event went to the parks. Other free fun family activities include mini golf, feeding koi fish, a playground, shuffleboard, corn hole, firepits, and more!
