Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa

The Resort that has it all!

Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa is one of the many Westgate Resort properties in the central Florida area. It is nestled perfectly in between Universal Studios Orlando and Walt Disney World Resort. This is a must see Orlando Hotel.

Villa-

At Westgate Resorts, you don’t get just any old standard hotel room. You get villa suites! Westgate Lakes offers studio villas, all the way up to four-bedroom suites! All of their rooms are complete with added amenities like jetted tubs, balconies, and a sleeper sofa. My husband and I stayed in a one-bedroom deluxe villa which comes with one king bed and one queen sleeper sofa. The master suite had its own separate bedroom and on the other side of the door was a full living area, dining area, and fully-equipped kitchen. The master bathroom is attached to the master bedroom. But, the giant jetted spa is in the bedroom! So glad my husband and I brought some bath bombs with us! It was so nice and relaxing! It is the perfect amount of space for a romantic getaway for two or a family vacation with the kids. And with lakes in the name, you cannot beat those gorgeous lake views outside every window.

Resort-

Westgate Lakes has SO MUCH to offer that you never even have to leave the resort! Mini golf, bowling, an arcade, a waterpark, multiple pools, paddle boats, biking, and more! What more do you need on vacation? And the best part is that most of the activities are included with your stay! Need food? No problem! Westgate Lakes has a deli, a sports bar, a pizza place, pool bars, a coffee shop, and a giant convenient store filled with groceries! They also offer room service. All of the amenities and activities are why I highly recommend Westgate Lakes for families!

Westgate Resorts are also PET-FRIENDLY! So of course we brought our little Nala along! She did so well in the room! Having a separate bedroom to be able to close the door I think is a huge help!

Water Park-

Westgate Lakes is also an Orlando water park resort. It has their very own water park called Treasure Cove! It is brand new and is located right in the center of the resort. Now you don’t have to stress about paying hundreds of dollars to visit a surrounding water park. For Westgate Lake owners, the waterpark is free. For Westgate guests, tickets are $20 per person. Other Westgate property owners only pay $13, military pays $15, and kids under 3 are free! At Treasure Cove you can splash in their wave pool, race down their two giant slides, relax in the lazy river, or play in the little parrots splash zone! Why stay at the regular pool when you can experience a water park on property!
