Weekends at The Wharf

Just a little over four months ago, the Promenade at Sunset Walk got a new addition!

The Wharf!

Atmosphere-

This restaurant and bar is such a fun and happening place to dine! The live band was incredible and had the entire restaurant singing and dancing! The stage is so close that there isn’t a bad seat in the house. I loved it here because you can dress up or dress down and not feel out of place. The Wharf is the perfect place to grab a drink at the bar and listen to music or enjoy a nice seafood meal with family and friends.

Cocktails-

Don’t miss out on the beverages! The Wharf has such unique and fun beach-themed drinks to try! The Bar Manager, Jessica, was so sweet and brought over her two favorite drinks. We had the Land and Sea cocktail made with Lavender Gin and a Key Lime Coconut Beer. The beer is hands down my new favorite summer drink. And I am not even a beer drinker! The Land and Sea was the perfect summer cocktail as well. And is super fun to mix. Order it to find out what I mean!

Seafood-

I have always been a seafood lover, but I especially crave it during the summer months. Because what says summer more than seafood? To start we ordered the Fried Rock Shrimp. These were highly recommended by our wonderful waitress, Maria, and they did NOT disappoint! For our meals we got the Pan-Seared Scallops with Rice Pilaf and the Blackened Grouper with Grilled Veggies and Garlic Mash. If you love scallops, ORDER THEM! You get 5 GIANT scallops seared to perfection. Definitely a great value for your money! And if you enjoy your seafood blackened, Spencer LOVED how they blackened the Grouper.

Dessert-

Don’t forget the best end to every meal! All of the dessert options sounded so good that it was hard to choose what to pick. So the bar manager and our waitress had a little competition to see which of their favorite desserts we liked best. They brought out the White Chocolate Brownie with Vanilla Bean Ice Cream and the Banana Cream Pie. Both were so equally delicious that it was a tie. The Banana Cream Pie is more on the lighter side and tastes just like Banana Pudding. And the Brownie Sundae is the perfect choice for chocolate lovers! You honestly cannot go wrong on desserts!

Huge thank you to The Wharf at Sunset Walk for having us. We could not have enjoyed it more. Dying to come back for more live music and seafood soon.
