Polite Pig, located at the bottom right of the Lime Garage at Disney Springs, will satisfy any meat lover.
NEED TO KNOW-
Polite Pig is the best kind of quick service restaurant! You don’t need a reservation, you order at the counter, and then a waiter brings you your meal and waits on you if you need anything else. It’s fast and fancy! What could be better than that? Oh yeah, the food! And here’s a little pro tip for my readers, if the line is backed up to order, go see if the bar has any availability! Polite Pig has an inside and outside bar that is first come first serve. And yes, you can order from the regular food menu at the bar as well! That way you don’t have to wait in line to order!
MEAT LOVERS-
ORDER THE BUTCHER BOARD! You will NOT be disappointed. The Butcher Board serves two and comes with pork, smoked chicken, prime brisket, cheddar sausage, slaw, house pickles, two cornbreads, and your choice of two sides! And if that isn’t enough, you can also add ribs or smoked turkey. My husband and I added ribs to our board and were so stuffed by the end. But, it could not have been more delicious. While this may be a messy plate, I highly recommend it! For our sides we ordered the Mac N Cheese (no surprise there) and the Grilled Street Corn. YUM! Both were great decisions. I have also heard wonderful things about their Crispy Brussels Sprouts! With over thirteen various sides, it is so hard to pick just two! Which is why I love that you are able to add extra sides to your meal as well. I had to try the NEW Seasonal Side, Blueberry Salad! We added that to our board and I am so glad we did! It was the most light and refreshing Spring salad. You can also order this as an entrée and add smoked chicken if you’d like! I definitely want to come back and have that for lunch one day soon.

Nothing goes better with barbeque than brews and bourbon. Even if you aren’t a big BBQ fan, if you are a fan of bourbon you have to stop in the Polite Pig. This bar and restaurant has one of the largest and most sought after bourbon collections I have ever seen! Even some 2 oz. pours go for over $600! That’s a lot of bacon! But, if bourbon isn’t your fancy, they have refreshing signature cocktails as well. I tried the Polite Punch, which is a restaurant favorite, and could not have been more pleased. This cocktail is made with Blood Orange Moonshine, Pineapple, and Cranberry. It is the perfect beverage on a hot day!
BE SURE TO LEAVE ROOM-
As hard as it will be, don’t skip dessert! Right now Polite Pig just got back in their seasonal Key Lime Pie and if you are a Key Lime fan, this slice is hardcore! It is unmistakably Key Lime in the best way possible. And if you are a Red Velvet fan like me, their Red Velvet Cake is heavenly. Red Velvet Cake has always been one of my favorite cakes, but I don’t always love the cream cheese frosting. A lot of times it is too dense and too rich for my liking. Polite Pig’s is not like that at all! It was soft, airy, and perfect. They also replaced their Gideon’s Chocolate Chip Cookies with their own Bourbon Chocolate Chip Cookie! It is such a pleasant twist. You definitely taste the smooth bourbon flavor and it balances out the chocolate very well. The manager recommended we take it home and heat it in the microwave to melt the chocolate a little and it was so yummy. So I too recommend saving it for later and tossing it in the microwave for prime tasting. Which is also a great idea if you are unable to eat anymore after your Butcher Board.
